On opening day of the Sample U research center in San Diego, over 600 Trysumers waited in line for a chance to take part in evaluating products and receiving free samples for their work. The research center expected to stay open for 2-weeks to conduct its testing. In reality, it collected all the data needed and ran out of free product samples in just 48 hours! The media storm that erupted from the opening event put Sample U and Alliant International University in the minds of marketers and product managers of companies Worldwide.
Sample U has expanding its research centers, called TryStores, nationwide and plans to expand to Europe, South America and Asia in 2011.
